Peter O’Hanlon is a freelance sports presenter & commentator, athlete, event host, conference facilitator and voice over professional whose dynamic, energetic, and engaging approach has earned him the reputation as an established name in the sports industry. To date, his commentary has been featured on various renowned sports media outlets, including Sky Sports, Fox Sports, Eurosports, CBC, and presently as the Voice of World Rowing.

What started as rowing on school and university crews, turned into an invitation to commentate at local regattas across the United Kingdom back in 2009. Everything took off from there, ultimately leading him to becoming a sought-after commentator worldwide. Today, he serves as the Chairman of Regatta Radio, which is an award-winning radio station in Southern England, and Peter hosts events in both the Sports and Financial Services industries.

As an Athlete, Peter's passion is for Rowing, Cycling and Running and he has a love of training for middle to long distance events. Health and wellbeing are particularly important in Peter's outlook on a balanced and sustainably happy lifestyle. Mental wellbeing through training and a release from the daily grind have been central to Peter's growth, both personally and in the development of others.

In Financial Services, Peter is the Global Head of Methods & Capabilities at HSBC based in London. In this, he is a FinTech Intrapreneur with a keen interest in Data, Tech, Agile Delivery and Team Behaviours & Dynamics. He is regularly invited to present and take part in industry conferences, summits and seminars with major groups like FIMA (Financial Information Management) and CAMMS (Cloud Analytics, Mobile, Social & Security).
